Leica M3 Double Stroke Rangefinder Camera (Body Only), OR with Leica Elmar-M 50mm f/2.8 Collapsible Lens

All cameras come with 6 months warranty. There appears to be minor separation in the rear part of the viewfinder, however, this does not affect image quality and is not noticeable when the viewfinder is held up to the eye.

This particular Leica M3 has the option of being sold as body only, or as a kit with the Leica 50mm f/2.8 Elmar-M Collapsible Lens.

Description:

The Leica M3 was introduced in 1954 and remains to this day one of the best film cameras you can buy. The M3 is the epitome of vintage style and its modern incarnations are still heralded by camera and design enthusiasts all over the world.

The Leica M3 is an entirely mechanical rangefinder camera which uses interchangeable lenses and whose viewfinder selects frame lines automatically as any lens is attached. The title 'M3" comes from the 3 referring to the fact that it had 3 projected frame-lines for three different focal lengths in the viewfinder, 50mm, 90mm and 135mm. Being fully mechanical this camera negates the need for a battery meaning its always ready to shoot.
