Description:
The Contax G1 is the most advanced (and arguable one of the most beautiful looking) 35mm rangefinder camera. This rangefinder is unlike any other camera. It has a fast autofocus, autoexposure, TTL light and flash metering, and automatic high-speed film advance and rewind. It was a breakthrough when introduced in the 1990s, and nothing has come close ever since. It has amazing Zeiss glass that is amongst the sharpest on the market. It's AF is very accurate and the choice of fully automatic or manual exposure mode makes it easy and enjoyable to either have full control on your pictures or blast through a whole roll without putting too much thought into it while still being certain to end up with amazing results.
The titanium built of this camera is also very impressive as it just feels perfect in the hand. The weight is very well balanced. It is heavy enough to feel sturdy but light enough to be forgotten when you have to carry it all day.
