The Nikon F2 is a truly classic camera, and the successor to the genuinely revolutionary Nikon F SLR launched originally in the late 50s. With a fully mechanical, titanium shutter with shutter speeds that go all the way up to 1/2000s, the F2 is a reliable workhorse that doesn't need any batteries to take photos, unlike it's more modern successor, the F3. As the F2 is part of Nikon's professional lineup of cameras, the prism can be removed for a makeshift waist-level finder. The camera also offers depth of field preview alongside mirror lock up for more stable and reliable long exposures.
