Filmneverdie Shooters - An interview with Evan Fowler

Where do you come from & what do you do for a living?
Heya my name is evan fowler :)
where do you come from & what do you do for a living?
I'm from Melbourne and I work full time for my family business making shower screens and own and operate awesome sauce studios in Footscray as well as doing my own photography business :)

How old are you?
I'm about to turn 27 .... Oldddddd lol ;P

How did you become inspired to shoot on film?
I got into photography after buying a broken Pentax k100 for $20 bucks at a time where dslrs were minimums like $1500 for a 7mp camera sooooo film just was a much cheaper and easier option

What format do you shoot? 35mm, Polaroid, 8 x 10 etc
I shoot a range of cameras I have a 35mm point and shoot on me to document urban landscapes and street photography, I also have a beautiful DSLR for studio work weddings ect and have a Hassleblad for my surreal landscapes as I love to blow them up quite large and I have an Instax wide and sx70 that I use for fun :)

Why do you like this format?
I like to use different tools for different jobs ;P
Can't shoot a wedding on a Lego camera

Where do you see the future of analogue photography?
I'm so sick of talking about analog vs digital but ultimately for me digi needs battery's and lots of them / charging and power points ect and film just needs a camera and film maybe a battery once a year .... Maybe
