We Got it Back Guys!!!

In continuation from our previous blog post about the missing Contax G2, we can officially say that we got it back!!! Sometime this morning Gary got a phone call from a local CashConverters saying they had our camera! 😱 Needless to say we went straight there and now the camera is in a glass cabinet here at the shop safe and sound!

We've were told that this morning the man identified in the video walked into said CashConverters and tried to sell off the camera. The man claimed that the camera was his Uncle's but was told by a staff member that the camera was indeed stolen. All of which he denied till he was presented of the video surveillance evidence of him in the act at which point he bolted and left the camera.

As it happens a staff member at that CashConverters (aka Tom Boote, aka @tomboote) used to be a customer of FilmNeverDie when it was still located in Parkville. Tom found out about the missing G2 from our Social Media call outs a few weeks ago. We have to say we are indebted to Tom and his comrades at CashConverters! And ofcourse we owe all of you who trawled online listings and pawnshops throughout the city for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙏
