The Canon Autoboy 2 (also known as the Sure Shot 2 in some markets) is a fully automatic 35mm point-and-shoot camera released in the early 1980s. Designed with simplicity and convenience in mind, it was one of the first cameras to offer one-touch autofocus, automatic exposure, built-in flash, and motorized film transport—all in a compact body.

At the heart of the Autoboy 2 is a high-quality 38mm f/2.8 Canon lens, offering sharp results with good low-light performance. The camera’s autofocus system is infrared-based and reliable in most lighting conditions. Exposure is fully automatic, with the built-in meter adjusting settings for well-balanced images without manual input.

Film loading, advance, and rewind are all motorized for a hassle-free shooting experience. The built-in flash fires automatically in low light and includes a manual override.
