It has a both shutter (where you pick the shutter and the camera matches the perfect aperture to use, like the Canon AE-1) AND aperture priority (Where you pick the aperture and the camera chooses the best matching speed to use, like the Nikon FE) but also offers a full program mode essentially turning your SLR into a big point and shoot with a very sharp and accurate manual focus lens .

Talking about sharpness... This model comes with the legendary X-Fujinon 50mm f1.6 DM lens. The best of this series, very well known for its tack sharpness and amazing bokeh.
