All cameras come with a six-month warranty. Note that the light meter in this camera is fully functioning, however, it does not work with this particular Pre-AI lens. An AI lens is needed for the meter to couple with the lens properly.

The Nikon FE is a legendary semi-professional SLR with Nikon reliability and a choice of fantastic optics. It has the basics anyone would need - a solid metal chassis, a satisfying shutter wind and release, and a clear easy-to-use viewfinder.
Not to mention extra details such as a multiple exposure release, half-stop compensation adjustments, and a small lock to prevent the film back door from being opened accidentally.
The FE is powered by two A76/LR44 batteries, but can still shoot mechanically in bulb mode and at 1/90th of a second without. The FE can also run in automatic aperture priority mode but will need an AI lens for it to properly function. This particular lens is a Pre-AI lens, meaning that the automatic exposure function and light meter will not function properly. The Nikkor 28mm-85mm f/3.5-f/4.5 Zoom Lens is a fantastic lens for general use, both wide portraits and scenery and to zoom into far-away spaces.
