Description:
The Olympus OM2 is the OM1's successor. It features a fully electronic shutter with a built in aperture priority mode. The OM2 has a double light metering system. On top of the two Cds sells giving the exposure information in auto and manual mode it also has two SBC sensors controlling the exposure in automatic mode. The possibility to shoot in automatic mode on top of the beautiful and compact Olympus design is why a lot of people love this camera this camera so much.
The first reason you should get an Olympus OM2 (Or any Olympus OM camera is this case) is for its wide array of accessories and beautiful Zuiko lenses. When the OM1 was introduced in 1972 it had already over 30 lenses and many more accessories available for it that are of course also compatible with the OM1. The Zuiko lenses are amongst the sharpest available on the market and just like the camera itself are for the most part very compact compared to equivalent lenses from other manufacturers.
